About me
I have 36 years’ experience as a nurse working in the NHS at practice and strategic level. I have always gained great satisfaction in caring for and supporting people to realise their potential. I am interested in listening to and understanding people’s stories to help them decide what changes they want to make to reach the goals or outcomes in life that are right for them.
This led me to embark on counselling training and through private practice pursue what I love doing. I specialise in bereavement, grief and loss and have supported clients who have experienced the death of loved ones; cared for those close to them; have themselves a life limiting illness. These distressing life events may create barriers to leading a happy and fulfilled life and exploration of why this is happening, through talking, gives us the chance to build the confidence to gain what we want out of life.
